Sometimes it is best to use specially-designed programming languages, for example, when you don’t want to expose the full complexity of programming to users, or when there are special requirements for running code. Very few people on the world can craft such languages, and we are proud to be among these.

OUR CEO

Founder and CEO Gerd Stolpmann has already created a couple of such compilers. These covered database query languages, and spreadsheet languages. The translation target was bytecode or WebAssembly. These compilers were implemented as part of projects run by customers.

The name Mixtional Code emphasizes our philosophy: we pick up ideas and concepts from various corners of the programming language universe, and mix these into one design that is finally functional. And with this we do not only mean that the translated code works, but also that the compiler design fits to the requirements set by the customer.

FOCUS

Mixtional Code GmbH was founded in 2020, and could hire a couple of employees since then.
Mixtional Code GmbH focuses on consulting for compiler construction and neighboring areas of work (e.g. parsing, optimization, runtime, metrics). The compilers can basically be written in any higher-level language. However, we have a preference for FP languages. It is possible to run these compilers in unusual environments, e.g. in web browsers.
